Welcome to the Crime and Suspense ezine website, a place for fans and writers of crime, suspense and mystery stories.

We like Golden Age crime stories, classic P.I. stories, modern detective stories, historical mysteries, spooky suspense, and cozy mysteries.  If you are looking for stories that make your palms sweat, make you look over your shoulder or cause you to check in the closet and under the bed before you turn out the lights, this is the place!

Are you a writer? Do you feel that you sometimes need a little boost to your Muse? Is it sometimes hard to see exactly where you are headed with your writing? Well, never fear!

The Writer's Journey Journal is here!

For all writers, new or old, experienced or novice, writing is a journey. A journey of discovery, of adventure, of danger, of romance... in short, a journey within the mind and heart of the writer.

From the back cover of The Writer's Journey Journal...

"Writers are explorers.

"We visit places others have not seen, we push on
sometimes even when others warn us that where we
are headed, is dangerous.

"But by our nature, we yearn to go down the never-
traveled or seldom-traveled path. We find new
places of our own creation, populating them with
those who live within our heads and hearts...."

The Writer's Journey Journal contains articles, essays and exercises by thirteen experienced authors, as well as journal pages for writing and writers' resources. The contributing authors are:

Austin S. Camacho, Beth Groundwater, Bill Crider, Carola Dunn, Carolyn Hart,
Chris Roerden, Dorothy Francis, Evelyn David, John M. Floyd, Robert W. Walker,
Radine Trees Nehring, L. Diane Wolfe, and Tony Burton.

Available from the publisher, Wolfmont Press, as well as from the authors.

Writers' Quote

Every writing career starts as a personal quest for self-betterment. Sooner or later, and as a rule quite soon, a man discovers that his pen accomplishes a lot more than his soul.
